DuruVault may maintain backups and recovery systems. However, users should not assume that backups provide an unlimited or permanent copy of every document.

Where appropriate, users should maintain independent copies of particularly important records.

14. Security

DuruVault uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

You acknowledge that security is a shared responsibility and agree to use available security features appropriately.

After account termination, access to your information may cease. Data may be deleted according to our Privacy Policy, applicable retention requirements, backup processes, and legal obligations.

Users should export important information before voluntarily closing an account where export functionality is available.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DuruVault provides the Services on an "as available" and "as is" basis.

We do not guarantee that the Services will meet every user's requirements or that information available through the Services will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DuruVault and its officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services.

  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your infringement of another person's rights;
  • Fraudulent or unauthorized documents submitted by you; or
  • Your intentional or negligent misuse of the Services.

23. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws specified in the final agreement approved by DuruVault's legal counsel, taking into account the applicable jurisdiction and mandatory consumer-protection laws.

Mandatory rights that apply to users under the laws of their jurisdiction will not be excluded where such exclusion is prohibited.

24. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal legal claim, users are encouraged to contact DuruVault and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

The final version of these Terms may contain additional dispute-resolution provisions, including arbitration, mediation, venue, class-action provisions, or other mechanisms, if approved by legal counsel.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes may be communicated through the Services, email, or another appropriate method.

Your continued use of DuruVault after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
